What is the ASCA?

Welcome to the American Stock Car Association, an American die cast racing series that weekly tours the United States at vastly different circuits with its races broadcasted on Instagram. The ASCA prominently features two main series, the Ajax Cup Series and the Craftsman Series. Braeden Bennett is the reigning Ajax Cup champion, while Gunner Thorson is the reigning Craftsman Series title holder. The association is also a subsidiary of the American Diecast Racing Association, one of three different die cast touring series in that organization.

Past and present race broadcasts dating back to 2014 (Season 0) can be found here.

The ASCA officially began back in 2003 when Caleb Henderson proposed an alternative racing series after failing to fulfill his NASCAR dreams. Henderson got together with a group of his friends, which included future ASCA legends Ronnie Woods and CJ Barrymore, and begun what became the Prejippie Cup Series with league branding coming from Henderson's parents. In 2005, a developmental league for the Cup Series was started, which eventually became known as the Lowe's Series.

In 2015, the ASCA went through a complete rebrand, and entered what's widely been regarded as the sport's modern era. The developmental second tier series was renamed to the Craftsman Series, while the top tier series was rebranded to the now well known Ajax Cup Series.

In 2026, a third tier series branded as the Grainger Truck Series was added.
